Behind the Yhellow bag
Built from old stories
Made for new ones.
Yhellow started with one yellow backpack, a group of friends, and the idea that every adventure deserves a bag with a story of its own.

Yhellow shoulder bag
The newest Yhellow bag. Smaller, lighter, and built to come along on every kind of trip.
Yhellow started on July 4, 2019. Louis was 16, on holiday with friends, chasing that simple feeling of freedom: going out, exploring, not really knowing where the day would end. After one of those small unforgettable moments on the road, one thing stuck: the memories would keep growing, so there had to be something that could go along for the ride.
That became the idea of a bag. Not just any bag, but one that could be part of every future trip and every new story. At the time, Louis was always carrying a yellow backpack as a joke because it stood out so much. That running gag became the starting point: if he was going to make his own bag, it had to be yellow.
Yhellow came naturally: a yellow bag, and a fresh hello to whatever comes next.
From driving across Belgium for scrap materials to sewing on whatever machine was lying around at home, the first Yhellow bag came together with help from friends, family, and people met along the way.
What started as one bag became more. First for friends, then in small batches, then through collaborations with names like Primus Haacht and Van Dievel. In 2026, Yhellow became more than a one-man project. Jasper, Jef and Kobe, friends Louis met during his student years, are now helping grow the brand to expand the story.
